SOHO Broadband and CompTIA® HTI+ Certification Program

Comprehensive Training Program for SOHO Broadband Networking and HTI+ Program
"Design and Configure a Smart Home"

This is a comprehensive 5-part program that prepares students for examinations to be certified in Home Technology Integration (HTI). Upon certification, students are proficient in installing integrated home subsystems, including computers, telecommunications, home security, audio/video, HVAC, lighting, and more. Special Note: the class features hands-on exercises and instruction on the use of the Windows XP operating system to control devices.

The program utilizes printed materials, but derives its primary value from well constructed hands-on labs. Students will be working on LIVE computers installing both hardware and software. They will be installing and configuring a structured media center using state-of-the art tools and equipment manufactured by industry leaders. As designed the course provides for 70% of the time dedicated to hands-on exercises.

Some organizations that support CompTIA® HTI+ include: BestBuy, CompUSA, Honeywell Int., Microsoft®, Cisco Systems, Fluke, Panasonic, Whirlpool, Gateway, Sears.
